One shop in Cuba Street which I don't think I'll ever forget was a delicatessen called Fuller-Fulton's. It was located about half-way along the eastern side of Cuba Mall. It was one of the largest delicatessens in Wellington and had a reputation amoung European migrants as being the place to go to buy all sorts of interesting foodstuffs at a time when NZ supermarkets were pretty bland. The thing I particulary remember was the distinctive smell of all the cured hams and salamis and such-like wafting through the door. I'm not sure when it closed but I think it must have been around the late 1970's or possibly the early 1980's. Anyone else remember this place?
